2013 Topps Gypsy Queen Preview

After a flurry of promo images Topps have recently released the full low-down on next years Gypsy Queen Baseball.

This product has been insanely popular over the last two years and now, going into its third year, has Topps stuck to its winning formula? or has it tried to re-invent the wheel?

As usual I’ve put a link to the sell sheet that can be found by clicking here.

Overall I feel that they’re an improvement on last years base design but I can’t shake the feeling that Gypsy Queen doesn’t seem to be progressing that much as a brand! I like some of the changes to the inserts (the Button card being a quirky addition) but it all seems much the same… but different (I know… that makes no sense to me neither).

However you know exactly what you’re getting into, and with two relics and two autographs in every box, along with a Hobby-only box of minis, no doubt that these will be as popular as in recent years.

I do wonder if the Gypsy Queen product has got the legs to go on in its current form before eventually running out of ideas and collectors tiring of it!

But it does have minis… And I do love the minis 🙂
